Community Industry Group

Community Industry Group is a not for profit peak body which supports community organisations, promotes industry expertise and pursues social justice issues in South East New South Wales.

We’re a membership based organisation which offers training courses and conferences specifically designed for people employed within the community services industry. We invite our members to have input into policy by contributing to regional responses to key government inquiries, discussions and policy dialogue. We proactively lead on issues impacting our industry, and vulnerable communities, and act as a spokesperson on community issues to government and the media.

Community Industry Group are helping to build a strong and informed industry. We are proud to have a seat at the table with influencers and decision makers to represent our membership and help effect social change for the most vulnerable individuals in our community. Community Industry Group undertake the role of secretariat for the Illawarra Disability Alliance.
